Podcast Interview with Media Relations Director Bryan Johnston

This interview is with Virginia Tech Softball's Media Relations Director Bryan Johnston. In this interview, we discussed the diffculties that he has promoting a female sport, such as softball, that does not get a large fan base or media attention. I addressed questions concerning where the difficulty lies, is it the fact that these are women playing or is just softball hard to promote? We also discuss some of the ways he promotes women's sports to target families!

I was able to learn more about his job and what it entails. Through this interview I wish to inform the public more about female sports and the differences in the types media coverage that it has over a male sport.
